  5. Tap Save to apply your changes. Now, WhatsApp will try to connect to the proxy you have set up, but it won't be able to and will go offline. 
  6. To get back online on WhatsApp, simply repeat the previous steps and select the None option in the proxy settings.

As WhatsApp allow to use the same account until ten devices, you need to follow the steps on all of them if you use this function.

On the other hand, if you are using the WhatsApp Web, it's not possible to do that on a computer.
